The Chefornak Traditional Council recently completed their project to replace an aging boardwalk. As you can see, the new boardwalk is quite an improvement!

Relocation to higher ground along with an elevated design accommodates both spring floods and frost heave. Handrails, pullouts and a wider turn-around platform increase both safety and functionality.
